The CRD5CM is mainly aimed at two-wheeled vehicles with strong demand in small size and low price. Such vehicles currently continue to grow in markets such as China, India and Indonesia. The main features of CRD5CM are as follows:

(1) The industry's first reverse-conducting thyristor in a small package for two-wheeled motor vehicle regulators In addition to the industry's first reverse-conducting thyristor for two-wheeled automotive regulators, the CRD5CM's TO-220 package is also compatible with Sa's previous thyristor (cell) products used the same package. This means that the mounting area can be reduced by approximately 50%, thereby reducing component mounting costs and enabling the design of smaller, more economical regulators.

(2) The thyristor with rated current of 5A and rated voltage of 400V realizes single and small package.
